New York, March 15, 2017 – OVERTURE announces the addition of several organizational members with global impact to its growing roster: DoSomething.org; DataKind; and Elrha, an organization dedicated to improving humanitarian outcomes through partnership, research and innovation. Members support OVERTURE’s vision to develop and curate the intersection between technology and humanitarianism – with the goal of developing and supporting technological solutions to help alleviate issues plaguing humanity around the world.

DoSomething.org is one of the largest global organizations for young people and social change – its 5.5 million members in 131 countries tackle volunteer campaigns that impact a wide range of humanitarian causes including poverty, discrimination and the environment. A pioneer in the data for good movement, the organization brings together leading data scientists and social sector experts to collaborate on data-driven projects to tackle some of the world’s toughest challenges. Managing Director of Capital & Growth, Julia Rhodes Davis focuses on collaboration, efficacy, and the impact of mission-driven organizational partnerships.
